Challenge
The mobile app needed a backend that stays fast as daily activity grows, without slowing down feeds, event pages and sign-ups.
What we built
We designed and built a microservices backend in Kotlin and Spring Boot on PostgreSQL, with each domain scaling on its own, and rebuilt the mobile app in Flutter for iOS and Android from one codebase.
Highlights
- New Flutter app for iOS and Android, 10K+ downloads on Google Play
- Backend serving around 20,000 daily users
- Microservices that scale per domain
